Lisa A. Morrison

A life that kept turning the page

Lisa Morrison became a widow at the age of twenty-nine when her husband, Michael Brown, died from AIDS in 1994. As a young mother of two, she learned to face grief, fear, and an uncertain future through prayer, Scripture, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Preaching her first sermon at Michael's funeral marked the beginning of a new ministry chapter. Lisa graduated from Victory Bible Institute in 1996. In 2000, she married Wayne Morrison; together they co-pastor The River Church in Waupun, Wisconsin. Lisa is a mother of two adult children and Nana to four grandchildren. She enjoys prophetic art, mentoring women, and writing from the heart.
